Very long boot up I arrive at the hearing where Ayoma, widower of some forty years, is attracted by the candidacy of one of the girls who think they audition for a movie.
Knowing the kind of Ryu Murakami, I wondered if he had changed his tone for this novel ... but luckily not! Yamasaki Asami's character sounds a little fake, she is hiding something but whenever Aoyme ask him questions which destabilizes it says something, all diplomacy, to make her happy.
Until scroll pages more Aoyma we share his appointment with her, and one wonders what she has to hide and what lies less than an ounce of truth.
Not to rob your reading if you want to read it, I would simply say that it is pure Ryu Murakami: trash, sex, drugs, all these topics found in his novels. Just a pity the story was here long enough to enter because I was on the verge of giving up.
